Stir-fried Vegan Oyster Mushrooms replicate the plump, juicy texture of real oysters. Just 4 ingredients make a delicious, seafood-flavored side dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pack hiratake mushrooms 100g
  • oil moderate amount
  • 1 tablespoon sake
  • 1 teaspoon sio koji
  • 1 dash Aonori adjust according to taste

Instructions
 

  • Remove the hard bottom from the hiratake mushrooms with a knife and break apart by hand.
    1 pack hiratake mushrooms
  • Place the oyster mushrooms in a frying pan with moderate amount of oil and toss to coat. Heat the pan over low heat.

  • When the pan is warm and sizzling, add the sake, cover and steam for about a minute over low heat.
    1 tablespoon sake
  • When the oyster mushrooms are cooked, open the lid. Add the seasonings and stir-fry quickly.
    1 teaspoon sio koji, 1 dash Aonori
  • Serve on a plate while still hot. Dig in!
