Welcome to our modest vegan Japanese food website! We've worked hard to make each of our recipes as simple and understandable as possible, so you may enjoy making plant-based Japanese food at home as much as we enjoyed creating this website.

Allow us to emphasize that there are other vegan Japanese food options besides SUSHI and RAMEN! We will try to introduce you to as many diverse foods as possible so that you may better appreciate vegan Japanese cuisine. So, whether you're looking for vegan Japanese recipes or want to learn more about Japanese culture, we're always here to help you.

About the person inside
I was born and raised in a rural area of Japan in the 1990s. I have always been interested in other cultures, ever since I was a little one. After becoming a working professional, I was lucky enough to live in Vancouver, Canada for four years.
I've always loved nature and when I'm not working, I love nothing better than going for long, peaceful walks in the forest. I've been lucky enough to visit quite a few countries, including the UK, India, the Philippines, South Korea and France, and wherever I go, I always find myself drawn to nature, whether it's green parks, forests, rivers or the ocean.
Since my trip to India in 2013, I've been pursuing my yoga practice with a focus on Iyengar yoga. Besides this, I have been practicing living in the moment through Gestalt therapy and meditation for several years.
As I've been deepening these practices, I've naturally increased the weight of my plant-based diet. I know from my own experience just how difficult it is to live a plant-based diet in Japan. So, I'm really excited to share this website with you. I hope it'll be a helpful resource for vegans living in Japan who are from abroad, and for vegans interested in Japanese culture from all over the world!
